Terms and Conditions

By requesting and contracting equipment rental services with Pocket Rentals, the customer (hereinafter "the Lessee") agrees to comply with the following terms and conditions:

1. Purpose of the Service

Pocket Rentals provides light machinery rental services, including but not limited to: electric generators (diesel power generators), light towers and aerial work platforms, according to the specifications previously agreed upon in the quote.

2. Rental Periods and Shifts

  • Rental periods are calculated by day (24 hours), week (7 days), two-week period (15 days) or month (30 days).
  • Rates are based on standard operating shifts that must be specified when quoting (8, 12, 16 or 24 continuous hours). Any usage exceeding the agreed hours will be billed proportionally as overtime.

3. Delivery, Logistics and Maneuvers

The cost of freight, travel expenses and maneuvers required for delivery and pickup of the equipment at the address specified by the Lessee shall be borne by the Lessee and itemized in the initial quote. The Lessee must ensure adequate and safe access for unloading the equipment.

4. Fuel and Consumables Supply

Unless the quote specifies an "initial diesel" service or fuel management, it is the Lessee's sole responsibility to provide the necessary fuel (clean, good-quality diesel) for proper equipment operation during the rental period.

5. Maintenance and Support

Pocket Rentals assumes responsibility for preventive maintenance of the equipment and provides 24/7 technical support for failures attributable to normal wear. However, we are not responsible for damage, downtime or breakdowns caused by:

  • Negligence, misuse or improper operation by the Lessee's personnel.
  • Use of contaminated or adulterated fuel.
  • Electrical overloads outside the stipulated generator capacity.

6. Equipment Custody and Responsibility

While the machinery remains at the Lessee's facilities or project site, the Lessee is solely responsible for the security, custody and physical integrity of the equipment. In case of theft, vandalism, fire, accident or major damage, the Lessee shall compensate Pocket Rentals for the commercial value of repair or full replacement of the equipment.

7. Payments and Invoicing

Payment terms (cash payment, advance payment or credit) shall be those stipulated directly in your quote or purchase order. In case of delay in agreed payments, Pocket Rentals reserves the right to remove the equipment from the facilities without prior notice.
